Grocery - Overnight Stock Crew
About The Position
Grocery overnight stock crew clerks are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. They perform tasks such as stocking shelves, ordering product, building displays, bagging groceries for customers, unloading trucks, operating a fork lift if trained, organizing the back room, and cleaning store areas as required. They are also responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate “check out” to customers, greeting and assisting them in locating products, and operating computerized cash register systems to weigh, scan, and process transactions. Clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations to assist customers effectively.
