About The Position

Walt Churchill’s Market is hiring a part-time Grocery Stock Associate for its Perrysburg, Ohio location. The Stock Clerk keeps the Grocery, Dairy, or Frozen Department well stocked and organized for customers. The role includes stocking and rotating inventory, helping with deliveries, maintaining clean and safe displays, assisting customers, and occasionally helping with carry-out duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to frequently lift 15–40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must have afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail stocking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock assigned department inventory as directed by the department manager.
• Assist with incoming deliveries, including unloading pallets and breaking down boxes.
• Rotate stock to ensure product quality.
• Front stock in aisles and displays.
• Provide excellent customer service when answering customer questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe department free of hazards.
• Answer customer phone calls and provide requested information about products and availability.
• Assist the Front End with carry-out duties on occasion.
