About The Position

Walt Churchill’s Market is hiring a Part-Time Grocery Stock Associate for its Perrysburg, Ohio location. The Stock Clerk ensures that the Grocery, Dairy, or Frozen Department is well stocked and organized for customers. The role includes stocking and rotating inventory, assisting with deliveries, maintaining clean and safe department conditions, and providing customer service. Shifts may be in the morning or at closing, and the associate must be available at least one weekend day and for holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Attention to detail.
Must be able to frequently lift 15–40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Must have afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail stocking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock assigned department inventory as directed by the department manager.
Assist with incoming deliveries, including unloading pallets and breaking down boxes.
Rotate stock appropriately to maintain product quality.
Front stock in aisles and displays.
Answer customer questions and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean, safe department free of hazards.
Answer customer phone calls and provide requested information about products and availability.
Occasionally assist the Front End with carry-out duties.
