Giant Eagle Grocery Merchandiser
About The Position
Field Force Merchandising is seeking part-time retail service merchandisers for ongoing programs in major retail chains. This is a permanent, part-time independent contractor position requiring one service call per week. Service visits must be completed on Wednesdays as specified by the client, and each visit is estimated to take 30–60 minutes in-store. Merchandisers change out point-of-sale (POS) materials on self-standing refrigeration and/or freezer units. Promotional visits also involve changing out POS materials and product. The role includes stocking the units and verifying they are functioning properly. Completed work must be photographed and reported on the same day as the service visit.
Requirements
- Be detail oriented and able to follow project instructions.
- Provide exceptional service and report accurate data and photos.
- Be able to build positive relationships with Department Managers, Associates, and the Store Management Team.
- Have a phone capable of taking photos of completed work and uploading photos to the service call report.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of merchandising and/or retail experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete one service call per week, with visits completed on Wednesday as specified by the client.

- Verify that the units are functioning properly.
