Grocery Merchandiser - Part-time, Days
About The Position
The Grocery Merchandiser supports store presentation and operations by stocking and rotating products, maintaining organized displays, and completing in-store merchandising projects. The role works hands-on in stores and collaborates with store managers and teammates to keep locations customer-ready, safe, and well organized. It also involves assisting customers, using technology to track time and report work, and adapting to changing priorities. The position is part-time, with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Weekday and weekend availability is required. The role may require travel between assigned local and regional locations. Pay is listed at $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependability, self-motivation, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, if needed, within the local pod and wider region.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb a step ladder.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to safely move merchandise, carts, and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain organized, customer-ready displays.
- Execute merchandising projects, resets, remodels, and other in-store assignments.
- Keep backrooms and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Greet customers, assist with product questions, and provide outstanding service.
- Work with Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and team members to complete daily priorities.
- Use technology to track time, report completed work, and support project execution.
- Follow safety procedures and promptly report hazards.
- Adapt to changing priorities while delivering high-quality work.
