About The Position

The Grocery Merchandiser helps ensure stores are stocked, well-presented, and ready for customers. The role works hands-on in stores to support merchandising, project execution, and store operations, while providing customer service and collaborating with store leaders and teammates. The company provides hands-on training and opportunities to build skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The position is part-time and scheduled Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, with the posting noting that pay may be based on experience. Travel between assigned locations may be required. The role involves standing and walking throughout the shift, frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and climbing a step ladder. It also requires lifting and carrying products up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance, and safely moving merchandise, carts, and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and wider region, if needed.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb a step ladder.
Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to safely move merchandise, carts, and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain organized, customer-ready displays.
Execute merchandising projects, resets, remodels, and other in-store assignments.
Keep backrooms and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Greet customers, assist with product questions, and provide outstanding service.
Collaborate with Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and fellow team members to complete daily priorities.
Use technology to track time, report completed work, and support project execution.
Follow safety procedures and promptly report hazards.
Adapt to changing priorities while consistently delivering high-quality work.
