About The Position

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time (15-24 hrs/week) Grocery Clerks at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Requirements

Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required including lifting of 25-50lbs, walking, standing, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
Ability to work a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, pack groceries, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval.
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department; clean shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
Maintain a constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
