Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time (less than 15 hrs/week) Student Clerk at our Food Store location in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. Requirements

Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
Ability to fulfill physical job requirements; extensive physical labour is required, including lifting up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO).
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department; clean breakage, spills, shelves, bins, and displays as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
Operate point of sale system and other electronic devices to process sales.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to tobacco and lottery.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
