Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Interest or experience in data analysis, data presentation, and reporting
  • Interest or experience process mapping, process improvement, and procedures development
  • Interest or experience in communications and/or graphic or presentation design (e.g. creating clear, engaging visuals, decks, or written materials)
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of how laws and regulations are created and implemented within Canada
  • Knowledge and understanding of Financial Crimes
  • Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration of governance documents, reports and inventories
  • Analyze, deliver, and implement projects and activities
  • Utilize the latest technologies available, designing and building solutions to meet business needs
  • Be an active contributor to not only your individual team, but to the RBC development community
  • Constantly seek out better ways to do things, new tools, new technologies, new processes
  • Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs
  • Support coordination of team logistics and operational activities related to workspace planning and transitions
