About The Position

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Grinding Specialist to operate grinding machines and produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. Work may include setting up and operating grinders, adjusting equipment, inspecting finished products, and reading written directions.

Positions are available on second and third shifts. Normal working hours are 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime. Third-shift employees receive an additional $1.00 per hour. The position is supplemental full-time, does not offer relocation, and requires no travel. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up grinders and similar machinery.
• Operate grinders to produce parts and components to specific tolerances.
• Adjust equipment as needed and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
