About The Position
EMC Precision is hiring a Grinding Machinist to perform setup and production work on full CNC and manual machines. The role includes verifying quality and making adjustments as necessary. The company has provided expertly machined complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities since 1925. This is a full-time, 3rd-shift position.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience.
- Experience holding .0001 tolerances.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Solid work history.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate full CNC and manual grinding machines for production.
- Verify product quality and make adjustments as necessary.
- Dress wheels.
- Set work blade heights.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Read micrometers and other precision instruments.
- Calculate and adjust machine settings.
- Identify and solve problems.
