About The Position

EMC Precision, which has provided expert machining of complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities since 1925, is hiring a Grinding Machinist. The position is responsible for setup and production on full CNC and manual machines, verifying quality, and making adjustments as necessary. This is a full-time, first-shift position. Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience.
• Ability to dress wheels.
• Ability to set work blade heights.
• Experience holding .0001 tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to read micrometers and other precision instruments.
• Ability to calculate and adjust machine settings.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Solid work history.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
