Grill Cook
About The Position
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Grill Cook to prepare meal items accurately to specifications while supporting food quality, customer service, and a team-oriented environment. The role works with a menu that includes scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. Full- or part-time positions are available, and morning/daytime availability is required. Shifts vary according to customer traffic and season, run Monday through Saturday, and may begin as early as 7 a.m. or end as late as 10 p.m. Locations are closed every Sunday and on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Morning/daytime availability is required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; shifts vary and may run Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting; essential job functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Attentiveness to local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation standards.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of kitchen or work experience (preferred, but not required).
- A can-do attitude and ability to work quickly and confidently.
