About The Position
Daddy O restaurant in LBI boosts a chic, modern and comfortable interior located only one block from the beach in a vintage seashore styled boutique hotel. The Restaurant menu offers American comfort food with modern creative twists in the dining rooms and outdoor garden patio. The full service energetic bar boasts specialty drinks and draft beer for festive Happy Hour Monday - Friday. The rooftop O Bar serves sushi and plenty of sunshine and views. Daddy O has two private dining rooms that are perfect for celebrations. Daddy O Hotel's 22 rooms offer a luxurious retreat with modern comfort and amenities within a block of the beach.
Requirements
- Be happy and constantly smiling!
- To make regulars at our neighborhood restaurant!
- Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
- Have a desire to build knowledge of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Be able to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Be able to communicate eloquently in fluent English
- Be able to use a telephone comfortably
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor into our home
- Understand table numbers, seat positions, and flow of service
- Be graceful in answering telephones, confirming reservations, and showing guests to tables
- Maintain accurate knowledge on hours of operation, relevant service and facility information
- Derive pleasure from providing genuine hospitality
