Greet Team Manager
About The Position
The Greet Team Manager leads the club’s greet team and is responsible for net membership growth. The role involves developing and motivating team members, driving membership and retail sales, and delivering a positive experience for prospective and new members. The manager is expected to lead with enthusiasm, support a culture of success, and help team members and members pursue their goals. The position is based at all club facilities and reports to the General Manager. It supervises the Greet Team and is classified as exempt and full-time. The role includes recruiting, hiring, training, overseeing, and motivating staff; achieving club and personal sales targets; managing membership sales initiatives; maintaining a professional presentation; and completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in a management-level position in the health, fitness, or a related industry.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license with an acceptable record, and registered and insured transportation.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and products such as ABC and GymSales.
- Obtain valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child certification, within the first 45 days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
- Ability to work weekends and/or evenings as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete weekly deposits accurately and on time.
- Achieve club monthly sales goals and non-member closing percentage.
- Boost retail sales revenue, including drinks and bars.
- Oversee membership sales initiatives, including open houses, special membership events, promotions, and closeouts.
- Achieve net membership growth by leading effective in-club collection efforts.
- Resolve and report incidents of inappropriate behavior.
- Capture and retain details on new membership leads.
- Maintain a clean and professional presentation.
- Recruit, hire, train, oversee, and motivate staff into a highly functioning team.
- Schedule and complete weekly training sessions with the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
