About The Position

The Grease Technician operates a company service truck and travels to customer locations to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal. The position requires a Class A or B CDL and operation of a manual-transmission truck.

Responsibilities

Perform complete pre-trip inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.
Drive the pump truck to and from customer sites and disposal areas.
Pump grease from restaurants and other commercial tanks, then clean or rinse tanks with a water hose.
Read route sheets and service assigned customers; record delivery or pickup details on tickets.
Maintain vehicle operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Operate the vehicle safely and maintain its clean appearance in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and applicable state and local driving rules and regulations.
Maintain delivery, vehicle, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, and completing driver logs and vehicle performance forms.
Work with the dispatcher to confirm routes and report issues or changes.
Interact courteously with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees.
Submit paperwork to the dispatcher on schedule.
Wash the exterior and interior of the truck and cab, including the underframe, tires, and wheels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
