About The Position

The Grease Recovery Operator operates and monitors two pre-treatment DAF systems to collect #2 grease from plant wastewater, as well as melt tank and centrifuge equipment. The role includes safely filling and loading semi-tankers with #2 grease, climbing on top of tankers when required, conducting routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance, and supporting wastewater processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The operator must comply with safety and environmental regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

The position is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and reports to the Environmental Supervisor. The listed schedule is 2nd shift, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; the description also notes flexibility to work a 3rd shift schedule and overtime as needed. The pay range is $26.55–$33.05.

Requirements

• Prior experience in industrial, mechanical, or wastewater operations is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in hot environments and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and lifting.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and complete wastewater certifications.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to learn wastewater operations and grow within the role.
• Flexibility to work a 3rd shift schedule and overtime as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
