About The Position

The Gray Media Training Program at WSFA is a 10-week immersive experience designed to train the next generation of media professionals. Participants will gain hands-on experience in roles such as producers, reporters, meteorologists, and sales executives. Requirements

Current enrollment as a college student (Junior or Senior status preferred).
Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
A "doer" mindset with initiative and a willingness to work.
Digital savvy, understanding of media across various platforms.
Strong work ethic, bringing urgency, organization, and a "can-do" attitude.
Effective communication skills for storytelling, pitching ideas, and clear explanations.
Reliability and commitment to the full 10-week program and 25-hour weekly schedule.
Passion for local media and community impact.
