Requirements

  • Two years of professional experience in the development and implementation of conservation education programs
  • A bachelor’s degree with course work in wildlife management, journalism, communications, or a closely related field
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Ability to perform essential job functions

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a current Class C driver's license which is not under suspension

Responsibilities

  • Design graphics and manage uploading process of visual project materials for marketing, outreach, web content, social media, and other agency needs
  • Participate in development and strategic planning for agency marketing initiatives
  • Work with multiple teams on a wide range design projects; encourage and assist staff in branding public communication materials
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and events that explain Commission programs and generate support and interest
  • Proofread, check content for accuracy, and ensure all graphics align with agency guidelines and mission goals
  • Stay current on design trends and tools to ensure agency outreach continues to connect with new and existing audiences
