About The Position

At Buff City Soap, we're looking for a Tempoary, Full-time Graphic Designer who combines creativity, craftsmanship, and curiosity to support our creative team and bring our brand to life across every customer touchpoint. From social content and packaging to presentations and print campaigns, you'll create work that is both visually stunning and strategically impactful.

You'll join a collaborative team of creatives who are passionate about building a memorable brand experience. We value big ideas, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. Whether you're brainstorming a new campaign, styling products on set, creating social content, or designing signage for a grand opening, you'll play a key role in shaping how guests experience the Buff City Soap brand.

This is a temporary, full-time assignment expected to run through the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, in-house creative team, or similar environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work, including branding, digital design, print materials, social content, and marketing campaigns.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing channels.
• Strong illustration skills and experience using Procreate while maintaining brand consistency.
• Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, including presentation design, templates, animations, and visual storytelling.
• Experience collaborating with photographers, videographers, and animators through creative briefs, storyboards, and production planning.
• Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, from design execution to product styling and quality assurance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to help the team succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Agency experience and on-set product styling or production experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging visual assets for digital, social, print, packaging, and in-store marketing initiatives.
• Design compelling graphics, templates, and presentations that support both internal and external communications.
• Produce content for social media channels, including static graphics, photography assets, and intermediate motion graphics or animations.
• Partner closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to develop design solutions that align with business goals and brand standards.
• Design press-ready files for signage, packaging, promotional materials, and other printed assets.
• Create polished PowerPoint presentations that communicate ideas through strong visual storytelling.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product launches, packaging concepts, and brand initiatives.
• Take ownership of transforming concepts into high-quality visual executions.
• Collaborate with copywriters to develop layouts, signage, packaging, and marketing materials that resonate with guests.
• Support photoshoots and content creation efforts through product staging, styling, and visual merchandising.
• Incorporate stakeholder and franchisee feedback while maintaining creative integrity and brand consistency.
• Review and quality-check all assets before delivery to internal teams or external vendors.
• Communicate effectively regarding revisions, timelines, file preparation, and project status.
• Contribute wherever needed with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
