About The Position

The Grants Administrator is responsible for providing post-award administrative support to the Grants Manager, with a focus on preparing grant billings and reports in compliance with federal, state, and local funding requirements. This role manages the administrative processes of grant reimbursement, including compiling data for both narrative and financial reports, and collaborating closely with internal teams to gather necessary documentation. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive approach to ensure compliance and support the financial sustainability of all grant-funded programs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in administrative, payroll, and/or grant reporting preferred.
  • Experience with federal grants management and/or federal regulations compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database/spreadsheet tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to perform duties that require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Provide 3 professional references.
  • Complete a drug screen, background check, and fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

  • Processing grant claims, verifying supporting documentation, and monitoring grant expenditures.
  • Submitting narrative and financial reports.
  • Collaborating with other teams to gather necessary information for reports.
  • Maintaining organized, accurate records of all grant-related documentation.
  • Providing training and technical assistance to staff.
  • Assisting in preparing budgets and projections for grant-funded programs.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve outstanding issues.
