The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) is seeking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented Grants Administrator to provide oversight to federal grants pursued and awarded, including, but not limited to the federally funded State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the activities of the Grants Administration Office. The Grants Administrator will identify federal and state human service funding opportunities and consult with staff and management on the development and implementation of mechanisms and processes in coordination with fiscal, financial, budget, and personnel departments. This position is specific to the governing of federal and state rules, policies, and requirements as set forth in the IDHS contracts pertaining to the management of federal discretionary awards. The position also serves as a full-line supervisor and oversees the review of federal discretionary management reports and databases, ensuring corrective actions are developed to verify compliance with all governing federal discretionary award rules and policies.
