The analyst will offer technical advice on administrative and financial aspects of proposals, including budgets, subcontracting, and indirect cost rates. A thorough understanding of guidelines from NIH, DOD, and other agencies is required, along with the ability to direct investigators, collaborators, and subcontractors. The position also entails creating and reviewing complex subcontracts, coordinating Conflict of Interest correspondence, and developing resources to aid investigators in proposal preparation and award administration. Additionally, the role involves identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities, maintaining databases of bio sketches and resource information, managing progress reports, and serving as a liaison with study sponsors. The analyst will also assist in preparing reports for administration on research activities and funding, oversee grant account transactions, and track research time and effort. The position is located in a clean, comfortable office environment.
