Creating standardized templates and presentation decks

Possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, wildlife/biology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience evaluated on a year-for-year basis).
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
Proven understanding of grant and financial administration principles.
Demonstrated background in designing and implementing instructional content.
Foundational familiarity with wildlife biology or wildlife management concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination of federal grant programs.
Work with agency grant project leaders in planning, developing, and preparing complete grant/award application packages.
Coordinate development of monitoring and review of grant performance reports.
Coordinate grant equipment requests or grant amendments, reimbursement requests and financial reports.
Assist in securing and monitoring grant match needs.
Provide assistance and training, including development of training content, to agency employees regarding federal requirements, on-line systems, compliance, etc.
Support agency audits as needed.
Assist supervisor with other administrative duties as assigned.
Assist with the review of WSFR grant packages and prepare for submission in TRACS and Grant Solutions, working closely with Department project leaders.
Review project statements, assist with review or development of grant budgets, complete federal financial forms for grant applications, compile compliance documents, identify grant match sources etc.
Review grant award letters and relay to project leaders.
Coordinate with Budget and Finance Branch on WSFR grant related issues.
Learn and interpret federal regulations and guidance materials for grant project leaders and program staff.
Develop guidance materials and training content and assist with training of project personnel.
Monitor grant performance periods, eligible and allowable activities and reporting requirements, and assist in monitoring compliance with grant requirements and communicating with project leaders and/or sub-recipients.
Monitor grant performance reporting to ensure reporting time frames are adhered to.
Coordinate with program staff to provide reporting notifications.
Review grant performance reports, format, and work with project leaders for edits as needed.
Review and monitor monthly and quarterly federal grant expenses and reimbursements at the grant level.
For pass-through federal grants, assist with risk assessment determination process, FFATA reporting process, Subrecipient determination process, and monitoring program subrecipient monitoring.
Monitor grant match requirements and targets against actuals; coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to monitor volunteer match commitments.
Coordinate with programs to facilitate entry of construction improvements and monitoring/reporting in the TRACS Facilities and Lands Inventory modules.
Assist in preparation of state and federal audit requests and other materials for auditors, and provide additional support for audits as needed.
eCivis oversight; point of contact for account set-up and training, assistance closing out awards in eCivis
Administrative tasks associated with budget monitoring, procurement tasks, and creating financial summaries.
Performs other duties as assigned.
