Clay County Administration is seeking an unpaid Grant Administration Intern for Spring 2027. The intern will work directly with the Grant Coordinator on grant-funded projects, economic development initiatives, and community partnerships, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in public administration, grant research, and community engagement. The anticipated term is January through May 2027. Scheduling and total hours are flexible and will be coordinated with the student’s academic requirements, availability, and County needs. The intern will have opportunities to collaborate with County departments, leadership, and regional partners, and to strengthen research, writing, communication, organization, and project management skills. The intern may develop nonconfidential work samples and present internship accomplishments to the Clay County Commission at the end of the term, subject to scheduling.
