About The Position

The Grain Plant Operator supports daily grain handling operations by safely receiving, storing, drying, cleaning, and shipping bulk commodities. The role involves operating equipment, completing inspections, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure product quality and consistent material flow. The operator works in a fast-paced agricultural environment requiring attention to safety, teamwork, and operational discipline.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in cold or warm production settings, including in guarded areas at heights ranging from 4 to 150 feet.
• Ability to wear required PPE and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain.
• Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to support ongoing facility operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
