About The Position

This seasonal position assists an agricultural location with general lot duties and follows applicable safety rules and regulations. The position is expected to run from now through likely sometime in December. Working 40–80 hours per week is common, and overtime is required as the season demands.

The role includes maintaining facility grounds and housekeeping, assisting with equipment maintenance, and soil sampling. The employee communicates daily activities, needs, and accomplishments to management. Additional job-related duties may be assigned, and responsibilities may be changed to meet business and organizational needs.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED; experience may offset this requirement.
• Maintain the physical condition needed to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance, and complete other physical duties necessary to run an agricultural location.
• Regularly walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel, and grasp.
• Work required overtime as the season demands.

Nice To Haves

• Prior agricultural experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills for daily equipment maintenance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds, including cleaning the lot, moving snow, spraying weeds, and mowing grass.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Perform soil sampling.
• Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments with management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
