About The Position

We are seeking applicants for a Graduate Research Assistant to support a SSHRC-funded research project examining the hidden social, emotional, occupational, and mental health consequences of resilience among immigrant workers across three Canadian provinces. The Research Assistant will serve as the Project Coordinator to support the overall coordination and administration of the project and work closely with the Principal Investigator and collaborating institutions. The project is led by Dr. Charles Gyan at the School of Social Work, McGill University and involves interdisciplinary and interprovincial collaboration focused on immigrant labour experiences, workplace inequities, and social justice.

Requirements

  • Must be a current McGill University graduate student.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research.
  • Ability to commit to 10-12 hours of work per week.
