About The Position

The Graduate Residence Hall Director (GRHD) position is a graduate student employee role within Campus Living & Learning at Baylor University. The GRHD is responsible for providing administrative support to on-campus communities and serving as a helpful resource and referral agent for residents, parents, visitors, and staff. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring the safety and security of residential communities by being aware of escort and visitation policies, verifying resident identity, and reporting concerns to residence hall support staff.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate student employee.
  • Minimum of 10 hours per week commitment.
  • Availability between 7 am and 1 am.
  • Must be a helpful resource and referral agent.
  • Must be aware of safety and security protocols.
  • Must be able to verify resident identity.
  • Must be able to communicate issues of concern.

  • Experience in administrative support.
