About The Position

Airbus is seeking bright minds from around the globe for the Airbus Global Graduate development journey, a personalized two-year program designed to cultivate professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities. The program emphasizes leadership development from day one, offering a unique perspective on Airbus while contributing to an impactful position. Participants will engage in soft-skill development workshops covering inclusive leadership, company values, resilience, communication, and emotional intelligence. Annually, global graduates will connect during an in-person development week with peers and seasoned leaders. The program aims to develop participants into established and valuable team members, sharpening skills in areas strategically important to Airbus and gaining a deep understanding of the business. Graduates will demonstrate their capability and readiness for future leadership challenges within Airbus, working in an industry that is reshaping the world.

Requirements

  • A degree level or equivalent within Bachelors degree in Finance, Management, Information Technology/Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain or International Business.
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Finance, Management, Information Technology/Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain or International Business.
  • Based in Herndon, VA and able to travel for some long term assignments to our other US based locations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
  • Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support PMI HRBP/HR Digital projects, including data and document migration, HRIS system integration, employee data review, cleaning, and auditing, and ensuring HR data compliance with state laws and regulations.
  • Assist with integrating newly acquired entities' onboarding projects, performance management cycles, and talent programs.
  • Support quarterly reporting, budgeting for various functions, and OpEx (Operating Expenditure) for Finance projects.
  • Support governance, tracking, and completion rates for PMI projects, including completing briefing slide decks for the leadership team and supporting data reports (e.g., headcount reporting across entities).
  • Support system integration and change management efforts for future ERP system changes, coordinate with impacted departments, and assist the facilities team with IT requirements related to facilities for IT/Operations/Facilities Projects.
  • Learn various tools including SAP, Gsuite, and Skywise (internal analytics tool).
  • Acquire skills in project management, data analysis, stakeholder communication, teamwork, market intelligence, and leadership.
  • Gain hands-on experience leading/supporting projects in an aviation parts distribution warehouse, repair center, and used aircraft material environment.
  • Participate in a minimum of one rotational placement to support growth into the Project Coordinator - Post Merger Integration (PMI) role.
  • Develop into a Process and Performance Specialist/Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Project Management role, or other similar role at the end of the two-year program.
