About The Position

Airbus is seeking bright minds from around the globe for critical roles that will shape its future. The Airbus Global Graduate development journey is a personalized, two-year experience designed to cultivate professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities, with a strong emphasis on developing leadership potential from day one. The program includes a soft-skill development journey covering inclusive leadership, company values, resilience, communication, and emotional intelligence through workshops. Graduates will also join an annual in-person development week with their global community to connect with peers and learn from leaders. The program aims to develop graduates into established and valuable team members, sharpening their skills in areas strategically important to Airbus and gaining a deep understanding of the business. The goal is to develop participants into individuals capable of taking on future leadership challenges within Airbus and to do their best work in an industry reshaping the world.

Requirements

  • A degree level or equivalent within Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Information Technology/Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain or International Business.
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Finance, Management, Information Technology/Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain or International Business.
  • Based in Herndon, VA and able to travel for some long-term assignments to other US-based locations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
  • Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
  • Steel toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Support PMI HRBP/HR Digital projects, including data and document migration, HRIS system integration, employee data review, cleaning, auditing, and ensuring HR data compliance with state laws and regulations.
  • Assist with integrating newly acquired entities' onboarding projects, performance management cycles, and talent programs.
  • Support Finance projects, including quarterly reporting, budgeting for various functions, and OpEx (Operating Expenditure).
  • Support PMI leadership projects by managing governance, tracking, and completion rates, which may include completing briefing slide decks for the leadership team and supporting data reports (e.g., headcount reporting across entities).
  • Support IT/Operations/Facilities Projects, including system integration and change management efforts for future ERP system changes, coordinating with impacted departments, and assisting the facilities team with IT requirements related to facilities.
  • Learn various tools including SAP, Gsuite, and Skywise (internal analytics tool).
  • Acquire skills in project management, data analysis, stakeholder communications, teamwork, market intelligence, and leadership.
  • Gain hands-on experience leading/supporting projects in an aviation parts distribution warehouse, repair center, and used aircraft material environment.
  • Participate in a minimum of one rotational placement to support growth into the position.
