About The Position

Join a high-impact team supporting a top graduate business program at the W. P. Carey School of Business. The Graduate Programs Student Services Support Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for students enrolled in graduate business programs, helping shape the student experience from orientation through graduation. This highly student-facing role supports a collaborative and globally diverse community. Under the guidance of the Associate Director, the Coordinator supports student academic success and engagement through academic advising, event and program management, communications, faculty support, and daily program operations. The Coordinator works independently while collaborating closely with a high-performing Program Operations team to deliver a high-quality student experience. This role requires building strong relationships with students, faculty, campus partners, and internal customers while demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness to student needs, discretion, and a strong commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include monitoring academic progress and coordinating student-facing events and initiatives. Success in this role requires professionalism, cultural awareness, adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment while balancing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. The role also offers opportunities to participate in unit-wide committees and cross-functional initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaborative technology tools
  • Experience composing, editing, and proofreading professional communications
  • Experience working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to take ownership of assigned programs and initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Advises and supports immersion and online graduate business students through academic coaching, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpretation of university and program policies.
  • Monitors and manages student academic progress, including degree completion, probation, off-track status, withdrawals, enrollment adjustments, and graduation readiness.
  • Oversees student administrative processes and records, including registration, interactive Plan of Study (iPOS), CPT trainings, and academic tracking.
  • Develops and delivers proactive student communications through presentations, office hours, newsletters, and targeted outreach.
  • Plans and executes orientation, student engagement initiatives, leadership programming, and academic and signature events.
  • Collaborates with faculty, internal departments, and university partners to support program operations, classroom logistics, and student success initiatives.
  • Coordinates faculty and classroom support, including course material preparation and classroom operations.
  • Supports program budgets and financial processes, including expenditures, disbursements, reimbursements, and approvals.
  • Creates, documents, and improves operational processes and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and the student experience.
  • Serves as a key resource for student services within the college and ASU and represents the WPC.
  • Program Operations team on committees and collaborative initiatives as needed.
