About The Position
Join UT Health Athens as a full-time Medical Surgical Graduate Nurse (first-year RN) in Athens, Texas. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility with a 24-hour emergency department, Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready designation, advanced diagnostic technology, a 10-bed ICU, maternity unit, radiation therapy center, and a stand-alone emergency department in Gun Barrel City. Requirements
- Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN license.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
