About The Position

A collaboration with Carroll School and Northeastern University, the Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate Studies in Education is a dynamic dual degree and licensure residency-based graduate program. This hands-on residency program prepares you to be equipped to handle the literacy crisis in Massachusetts and beyond. The program in conjunction with Northeastern University leads to full Massachusetts initial dual-licensure and dual Masters’ degrees in Education: Moderate Disabilities-Pre-K- 8 and Elementary 1-6. This intensive 12-month residency program starts in early June and ends the following June. Graduate interns take courses at Carroll School and Northeastern University while participating in a full-time immersive teacher residency in classrooms at Carroll. Unlike other teacher preparation programs, graduate interns also receive nationally-accredited Orton-Gillingham training and certification, at no additional cost.

Requirements

  • Applications are reviewed as they are received and decisions are made on a space available basis combined with suitability for an intensive residency-based graduate program.
