Requirements

Graduate of RN accredited program required
Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont required or compact license required
BLS certification
NRP (or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

BSN Preferred
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
STABLE certification
OSHA Category I - Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues require use of techniques of Universal Precautions as evidenced with blood borne pathogens standards.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care throughout the full perinatal spectrum: labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Monitor labor progress, support vaginal and cesarean births, and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies
Provide care for clean surgical cases within the unit
Educate and support families with postpartum recovery and newborn care
Collaborate closely with providers, pediatric teams, and anesthesiology
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system
