About The Position
Airbus is seeking bright university graduates to fill critical roles that will shape its future. The Airbus Global Graduate development journey is a personalized, two-year experience designed to cultivate professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities, with a strong emphasis on developing leadership potential. Graduates will gain a unique perspective on the world of Airbus while contributing directly in a specific, impactful position. The program includes soft-skill development in areas such as inclusive leadership, company values, resilience, communication, and emotional intelligence through various workshops. Annually, graduates will join their global community for an in-person development week to connect with peers, learn from leaders, and gain industry insights. Throughout the program, participants will be developed into established and valuable team members, sharpening skills in areas strategically important to Airbus, gaining a deep understanding of the business, and preparing them to take on future leadership challenges. Requirements
- A degree level or equivalent within Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
- The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
- Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
- Only applicants with current work authorization will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- A strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis and mechanics of materials is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and review of certification documentation related to Type Certification (TC), changes to TC and Continued Airworthiness of the fleet.
- Support the development and management of Certification Plans.
- Identifying applicable and affected Aircraft Regulations impacted by changes and repairs.
- Learn Airbus Process, Methods and Tools related to Airworthiness Certification of Airbus aircraft from new delivery to in-service repairs and modifications.
- Work closely with a wide range of internal teams including design office specialists, repair specialists and Certification team members to gather data needed for Certification.
- Participate in overseas or US-based rotational placements to support growth into the position.
