About The Position
Airbus is seeking university graduates with aspirations, enthusiasm, and talent to pioneer sustainable aerospace. The Airbus Global Graduate development journey is a personalized, two-year experience designed to cultivate professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities, with a strong emphasis on leadership potential. Graduates will gain a unique perspective on Airbus while contributing to an impactful position. The program includes soft-skill development in areas such as inclusive leadership, resilience, communication, and emotional intelligence through workshops. Annually, graduates will join their global community for an in-person development week to connect with peers and learn from leaders. Throughout the program, participants will be developed into established team members, sharpening skills in areas strategically important to Airbus and gaining a deep understanding of the business. The goal is to develop graduates into individuals capable of taking on future leadership challenges within Airbus and to do their best work in an industry reshaping the world.
Requirements
- A degree level or equivalent within Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
- The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
- Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
- Only applicants with current work authorization will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- A strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis and mechanics of materials is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and review of certification documentation related to Type Certification (TC), changes to TC and Continued Airworthiness of the fleet.
- Support the development and management of Certification Plans.
- Identifying applicable and affected Aircraft Regulations impacted by changes and repairs.
- Gather data needed for Certification by working closely with internal teams including design office specialists, repair specialists and Certification team members.
- Participate in overseas or US-based rotational placements to support growth into the position.
