About The Position

The Intramural Athletics Program is looking to bring on a Graduate Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of the intramural athletics program, including writing up scoresheets, field preparation, supervising game officials, score keeping, and communicating with participants. The role also includes approximately 5 hours per week dedicated to record keeping of game results and writing up daily scoresheets. This assistantship is for graduate students carrying a minimum of six credit hours each semester and requires maintaining good academic standing.

  • Must be a graduate student carrying a minimum of six credit hours each semester.
  • Must remain in good academic standing from semester to semester to continue an appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the intramural athletics program.
  • Writing up the daily scoresheets.
  • Field preparation (weekly lining of fields and daily set-up and break-down of equipment).
  • Daily supervision of game officials and officiating as needed.
  • Score keeping and recording of game results.
  • Daily Communications with Athletic Officers, team captains, and intramural team members.
  • Promotion of upcoming events.
