The Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs is a position in the Division of Student Affairs working directly with the Director of Career Services. This role provides front-line support for Career Services operations, assists in career readiness programming, and engages in marketing and logistical support for various initiatives. The position also supports the broader Division of Student Affairs, with a focus on Career Services and Accessibility Services, and provides operational support to the Stephen Herrmann Mail Center. The Graduate Assistant will assist students in identifying and connecting with campus resources, participate in data reporting, and serve as a liaison during special events. They will provide responsive customer service, maintain internal documentation, and represent Career Services and Student Affairs at university events. Additionally, the role involves assisting with Student Affairs events, including physical setup and breakdown, and contributing to social media campaigns. The Graduate Assistant may also conduct outreach to students and employer partners. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Career Services in alignment with departmental and divisional strategic goals.
