About The Position

The Grader thoroughly examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia retail stores. The role processes goods quickly to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures. Graders may work across multiple areas and are expected to maintain an organized and safe work area while supporting team and guest-service goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Consistently foster a healthy team culture focused on exceptional guest experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Must be 18 or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift; individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.
• Must begin employment wearing acceptable safety work shoes.
• Must be able to work in heat, cold, and dust.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods, and push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Must be available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours as needed.

• Perform work according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.

• Perform other duties assigned by management.
