About The Position

The Grader thoroughly examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores. The role processes goods at an accelerated pace to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures. Graders may work across multiple areas to support daily production goals, maintain an organized work area, and follow safety and security practices.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift; individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have strong organizational skills and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Must start employment wearing acceptable safety work shoes.
• Must be able to work in heat, cold, and dust.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including bending, reaching, grasping, standing and/or walking for extended periods, and pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Must be available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours as needed.

• Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
