About The Position

At Goodwill of North Georgia, the Grader examines and grades donated goods for sale in stores and online. The role supports the organization’s mission of turning donations into job training and employment opportunities. The position requires processing goods to daily production goals, supporting multiple work areas, following work instructions and training, and contributing to a safe, organized, and cooperative workplace.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Consistently foster a healthy team culture and exceptional guest experience.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be at least 18 years old to be certified and licensed to operate a forklift; individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
Process goods effectively to meet daily production goals.
Move between multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
Identify and quickly solve problems or seek management support.

Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
