About The Position

The Grade 5 Boys Basketball Coach develops and implements an exemplary athletic program that provides quality education and growth opportunities for student-athletes. The coach is responsible for instruction in basketball fundamentals and strategy, student development, program planning, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. The position is at Hebron Elementary for the 2026–27 season and pays $1,063.

Requirements

Prior coaching experience is preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of the sport being coached.
Proficiency in standard English, spoken and written.

Develop and maintain an organized athletic program with structured long-term planning.
Plan and organize effectively, using appropriate strategies and resources to support student-athlete development.
Explain coaching expectations and their importance to students’ personal, athletic, and academic growth.
Use appropriate and varied coaching techniques and learning activities.
Monitor student progress effectively and inform appropriate individuals.
