About The Position

This role assists skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties and may work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. The position requires the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman. The project involves installing civil utilities, roadway excavation/grading, site mass excavation and balance, and asphalt paving and hardscaping to support combustion turbine power generation plant construction.

Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years' experience as a Grade Checker.
Must have GPS/Survey Equipment experience.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Heavy civil/road construction experience.
