About The Position

Sundt is seeking a Class A CDL Water Truck Driver in Waddell, Arizona. The driver safely operates a 4000K water truck and may operate other truck types, including dump trucks, volumetric mixers, flatbed trucks, and articulating haul trucks. The role includes conducting pre-shift walk-arounds and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure safe operation. The position requires at least three years of industrial or commercial construction experience, a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card, and passing a pre-employment DOT drug test. Drivers must maintain a current Medical Card and be available to work overtime. The stated schedule is 40 or more hours per week; the role may involve shifts of up to 12 hours and work outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions. The position is safety-sensitive. Employees are expected to produce high-quality work safely and productively, maintain positive relationships with crew members, communicate effectively, support work readiness by identifying needed materials and equipment, and pursue opportunities to improve work methods and share knowledge. Requirements

At least three years of experience in the industrial or commercial construction industry.
In-depth understanding of operating various types of trucks.
Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Current Medical Card, which must be maintained.
Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test.
Ability to read and understand safety and quality standards.
Ability to effectively use trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Availability to work overtime and 40 or more hours per week.
Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
Ability to climb and maintain balance on stairs and ladders.
Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Frequent use of hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects; frequent reaching above shoulder height and below the waist; occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending.
Ability to move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hardhat, and a vest.
