GPS Field Technician
About The Position
As our entry-level GPS Field Technician, you'll be at the heart of our construction operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly with precision. You'll get hands-on experience in GPS machine control technology and surveying while contributing to impactful projects. This entry-level role will include: Ensuring quality control by recording the location of compaction tests for earthmoving operations Conducting as-built shots for installed utilities and structures Using GPS machine control technology to support field operations Assisting the Curb Operator to ensure the GPS curb machine is functioning flawlessly Diagnosing and calibrating machine control equipment on-site Traveling to various job sites throughout the day to monitor operations
Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction
- Ability to work outside and travel to job sites throughout the day
- Ability to follow directions
- Great communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Being bilingual is preferred but not required.
