As a GPS Technician, the role involves conducting GPS data collection for natural gas infrastructure to ensure accurate and up-to-date facility records. This position requires collaboration with locators and effective communication with the public regarding project updates.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
1+ year experience collecting GPS data in the utility industry
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
Join and maintain Union membership

Responsibilities

Conduct accurate GPS data collection of existing gas infrastructure to ensure up-to-date facility records
Collaborate with locators to develop and execute work plans for designated areas
Serve as a liaison to the public, effectively communicating project updates and ensuring transparency on behalf of the client.
Load and unload equipment and materials
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
Performs other related tasks as requested by leadership
