This professional position is part of the Patient Care and Treatment Access Program within the HIV/AIDS Section, Bureau of Communicable Diseases, Division of Disease Control and Health Protection. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Quality & Operations Manager. The role supports Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance (QI/QA) activities and Clinical Quality Management (CQM), including monitoring patient outcomes and adherence to clinical guidelines. It contributes to identifying high‑performing health outcomes across Florida by reviewing and reporting data, addressing health disparities, improving quality measures, and supporting linkage to care. The incumbent also assists the Statewide Planning Coordinator by collaborating with statewide planning bodies and local jurisdictions on HIV‑related planning activities. This position works closely with the Regional Coordinator Liaison, HIV Prevention Program, Quality & Operations Manager, and Client Services Access team to support best practices and linkage‑to‑care initiatives for clients accessing ADAP, Ryan White Part B, and HOPWA services. As the Assistant Quality Analyst, you play an essential role in ensuring that products and services meet established standards and exceed expectations. You will collaborate with key staff within the HIV/AIDS Section to conduct quality metrics, planning, and continuous quality improvement initiatives for the Quality & Operations team. Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating quality data, identifying improvement needs, and implementing corrective actions. Additional duties include assisting with documentation, providing technical assistance, implementing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) regulations and policies. The role requires effective communication skills and a strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
