About The Position

This is a professional contract manager position within the Bureau of Pediatric Complex Care in the Division of Children’ s Medical Services. This person serves as a certified contract manager and requires a person who is attentive to details, highly organized, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, financial literacy and the ability to meet deadlines. Incumbent tasks include but are not limited to: Serves as the primary contract manager for the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) program. Providing contract oversight, daily technical assistance, and customer service related to the management of FASD contracts and the associated deliverables. Facilitate provider engagement meetings. Receives, reviews, analyzes, report data to ensure program compliance. Receives, reviews, and processes invoices through Department invoicing system. Mains up-to-date knowledge of provider contracts, including pertinent federal regulations, state statutes, administrative rules, and Department policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Contract Management experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal/state rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in Contract Management.
  • Knowledge of State Contract Management rules and regulations.
  • The candidate for this position must be FCCM certified or must be able to complete FCCM training and pass the corresponding exam within the first 90 days of employment or when the class is first made available

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 years of Contract Management experience.
  • 1 - 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Experience processing invoices.
  • Experience completing audits or desk reviews
