This position is with the Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Enforcement, Consumer Services Unit. It is an open competitive opportunity for an anticipated vacancy. The role involves analyzing and processing various types of medical and allied health complaints against Florida health care licensees to ensure conformity with quality assurance principles and standards. The employee will develop solutions for issues, consult with organizations, interpret statutes and regulations, conduct investigations, and provide technical assistance. The position also serves as a liaison between various parties, evaluates laws and regulations, and represents the agency at meetings and hearings. Additionally, the role may involve mediation in complaint resolution and assisting with training.
